Countdown to Futurama: Ben Aging and Bender Bike Sketches

When I woke up this morning, if you’d told me today was the day I’d see a robot with acne, I’d have probably said, “How did you get in my bedroom?! Stop laughing at me! Lots of grown men sleep in wrestling leotards! It’s good for circulation!”

But you’d have been right.

These sketches come from Futurama’s season premiere, “The Bots and the Bees,” which airs Wednesday, June 20 at 10/9c. In case you missed it, you can see Bender and his bastard son Ben in a clip from the episode right here.

Countdown to Futurama: Ben and the Bank Storyboard

It being the day after Cinco de Mayo, you might be nursing a hangover today. Some recommend a little hair of the dog, but I always find Futurama storyboards to be the best cure. And it just so happens we’ve got some today from the upcoming season premiere, “The Bots and the Bees.”

New episodes of Futurama return Wednesday, June 20 at 10/9c.

‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ (1982): Sean Penn fronts a terrific cast in this snapshot of Southern California high-schoolers bewildered by the world they’ll soon be entering.

‘Rock n Roll High School’ (1979): It’s total war between high school staff who don’t understand rock music and students who live for The Ramones.
